MATERIAL
I utilized the iPhone’s capability to scan objects and environments using AR (Augmented Reality). It was the gateway to the experimental design I was looking for.
MOTION
As a designer and painter, I work quickly. Letting the paint guide my hand as I create strikes and slashes across the page.
MATTER
The result of experimental ink work is incorporated into a collage.
AFTERWARDS & THOUGHTS
The goal of this project was to present a conversation piece to an audience; however, after completing the previous three posters, I was notified that only one physical print poster was allowed.
Sigh.
In response, I designed a Frankenstein poster that encapsulates an aspect of each step onto vellum paper. The poster changes as sunlight hits it differently throughout the day; similarly, a designer’s process can change in their lifetime.
