Originating from 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the term “doom scrolling”
We found that everyday news was taking away from us instead of adding to our lives. They give in to our negativity bias by feeding us junk news that is meant to be sensational.
Our focus is on delivering constructive, positive news to people in the morning. We're sending out the message stay informed, not stressed, to the public
Designed with the help of Forough Abadian.
In designing the name, being apart of the morning and nature aspect was critical for the brand’s appearance. As a result, Solite was born. Sol like the sun and lite both like sunlight and being easily digestable.
Creating the brand’s logo, a simliar thought was followed. The circle represents the sun while the ‘S’ turned on its side is both land and water. A call to return to nature.
